DESCRIPTION

6469083-3 is a backplane connector designed for high-reliability signal and ground connections in electronic systems. It features phosphor bronze contacts and shield with a glass-filled polyester housing rated UL 94V-0 for flame retardancy. The mating area finish consists of 1.27 µm minimum gold over 1.27 µm minimum nickel, while the compliant pin area has 0.5 µm minimum tin over 1.27 µm minimum nickel. The connector includes multiple rows (A through F) with dedicated ground rows (BG, DG, FG) where the three grounds in each column are commoned. This connector is suitable for backplane applications in uncontrolled environments, meeting Telcordia GR-1217-CORE performance requirements.
