DESCRIPTION

6450880-1 is a right angle receptacle power connector from TE Connectivity's MULTI-BEAM XLE series, designed for high-current power distribution applications. It features a 3-beam contact design with 80 Amp high power contacts and 20 Amp low power contacts, offering over 40% more current capacity in the same PCB footprint compared to original MULTI-BEAM XL connectors. The connector provides contact resistance of 0.7 milliohm per contact at rated current, with mating forces of 5N max for high power contacts and 2N max for low power contacts. Available in configurations including 6LP/24S/3P and 4AC/48S/12HDP, it supports radial misalignment of ±2mm and meets RoHS requirements. Common applications include modular hot-swappable power supplies, 1U/2U servers, high-end computer and telecommunications equipment, and power distribution circuit boards.
