DESCRIPTION

The 6-1879350-7 is a metal film power resistor from the RR Series, manufactured using homogeneous metal alloy film deposited on a high-grade ceramic body with a helical groove cut in the resistive layer. It features non-flammable red lacquer coating for electrical, mechanical, and climatic protection, with resistance to all cleaning solvents per MIL-STD-202 and IEC 60068-2-45. The resistor exhibits high stability with a temperature coefficient of ±300 ppm/°C, tolerance options of ±5% or ±1%, and is suitable for both continuous and pulse applications with defined interruption behavior. Common applications include power circuits requiring high reliability, pulse handling capability, and compact form factors where thermal management and electrical stability are critical.
