DESCRIPTION

SMW368RJT is a surface mount moulded power resistor from the TE Connectivity SM Series, designed for power circuitry applications requiring reliable performance in high-temperature manufacturing environments. The device features a low-profile design with flexible tinned copper terminations and fully welded construction, enabling it to withstand reflow, vapour phase, and infrared soldering processes without degradation. Available in 2, 3, or 5 watt power ratings with resistance values ranging from 0.1 ohm to 500 ohms (depending on case size), the resistor offers 1% or 5% tolerance options and operates at maximum voltages up to 500V. With a temperature coefficient of ±200 ppm/°C, insulation resistance of 10,000 MO, and UL94V0 flameproof coating, this component is ideal for demanding power applications including industrial power supplies, motor control circuits, and high-reliability electronic systems.
