DESCRIPTION

602013 is an AMPACT aluminum tap connector designed for utility power distribution applications. It utilizes TE Connectivity's Wedge Pressure Technology, which uses a metal wedge inserted at approximately 40 m/s to secure two conductors at opposing ends of a C-clamp. The connector allows for quick installation compared to conventional crimp-type connectors and can be used to connect multiple conductor combinations without damaging the conductors. This tap connector is suitable for overhead line tapping applications where reliable electrical connections and ease of installation are required.
