The 5917334-5 is a CHAMP 050-2 header-receptacle connector assembly designed for printed circuit board applications with vertical mounting orientation. It features 36 positions with a 1.27 mm [0.050 in] centerline spacing and incorporates Boardlock PCB mount retention for secure mechanical attachment. The connector housing is constructed from black thermoplastic material with a steel shell plated in nickel, while the contacts utilize phosphor bronze base material with gold plating (12 µin) on the mating area and tin-over-nickel plating on the solder tail. The assembly is rated UL 94V-0 and is compatible with recommended PCB thickness of 1.60 mm [0.063 in] and panel thickness of 2.01 mm [0.079 in], making it suitable for industrial and commercial electronic equipment requiring reliable interconnection and robust mechanical retention.
