DESCRIPTION

The 5749111-1 is a 20-position cable plug connector designed for high-density D-subminiature interfaces. This connector is equipped with rails and standard termination covers, utilizing an insulation displacement contact (IDC) method for fast and reliable termination. It is constructed with a black, 94V-0 rated thermoplastic housing, a steel shell plated with a tin-nickel alloy for EMI/RFI shielding, and duplex-plated phosphor bronze contacts. The contacts have a minimum of 0.000030 inches of gold plating on the mating end. Recommended for 28 or 30 AWG wire, this connector is ideal for applications in industrial machinery, medical instrumentation, and computer peripherals.
