DESCRIPTION

556409-1 is a 64-position CHAMP miniature ribbon IDC connector system designed to accommodate 22 AWG wire with insulation diameters up to 0.056 inches (1.42 mm). The connector features F-slot contacts with a folded beam contact design that handles large insulation diameter conductors, utilizing a 0.065 inch centerline spacing. This plug-style connector is part of the CHAMP Interconnection System and is supplied as a connector only, without cover or cable. The design is ideal for applications requiring reliable ribbon cable connections in compact spaces where standard connectors cannot accommodate larger insulation diameters.
