DESCRIPTION

5499922-7 is a 30-position pin header with long latches designed for .025" [0.64 mm] centerline ribbon cable interconnect systems. This connector features Contact Plating Finish A and a soldertail length of .110" [2.79 mm], making it suitable for through-hole PCB mounting. The pin header is designed to mate with AMP-LATCH strain relief receptacles in ribbon cable applications. The housing and cover are made from thermoplastic rated UL 94 V-0, with contacts made from phosphor bronze with gold plating on the mating end and tin in the wire termination area over nickel underplating. This connector is commonly used in Ultra ATA bus applications and other ribbon cable interconnect solutions requiring reliable signal transmission.
