DESCRIPTION

The 51986-2 is a COPALUM Lite sealed terminal or splice designed for lightweight and reliable connectivity in aerospace applications. It is constructed from a tin-over-nickel-plated aluminum base material, offering up to 60% weight savings compared to traditional copper terminals. The component utilizes grease-free COPALUM dry crimp technology, where a perforated insert penetrates wire oxides to form a durable, oxide-free termination in a single crimping step. Fully qualified for commercial aircraft, these terminals are ideal for primary power feeders, grounding systems, and unmanned aerial vehicles where weight and reliability are critical.
