5188835-4 is a 2mm Hard Metric PCB mount connector designed for backplane and midplane interconnect applications. It features a Type B, 22 column plug configuration with 154 signal contacts arranged in 5+2 rows (rows A, E, Z, F, D, B, C loaded), providing high-density signal transmission. The connector utilizes gold-plated (50 µm) over nickel (50 µm) contact mating surfaces with phosphor bronze contact material and tin over nickel termination plating for reliable electrical performance. The housing is constructed from glass-filled polyester with UL 94V-0 flammability rating, and the connector mounts vertically to the PCB with a module length of 44.00 mm (1.732 inches) and feedthrough post length of 3.71 mm (0.146 inches). This RoHS and ELV compliant connector is ideal for high-density backplane systems requiring robust signal integrity and long-term reliability in industrial and telecommunications equipment.
