DESCRIPTION

5179029-5 is a fine pitch SMT stacking connector designed for parallel board-to-board applications with 0.8 mm free height. This connector is part of a modular stacking system that supports multiple position configurations ranging from 40 to 200 positions, with dimensions of 47.20 mm (1.858 inches) length, 53.80 mm (2.118 inches) width, and 52.20 mm (2.055 inches) height for the 120-position variant. The connector is available with 8 µ" Au or 30 µ" Au plating options to meet various reliability and environmental requirements. These connectors are commonly used in high-density interconnect applications where space constraints and reliable signal transmission are critical, such as in telecommunications, computing, and industrial control systems.
