DESCRIPTION

The 499923-7 is a universal ejection pin header from TE Connectivity's AMP-LATCH product line, designed for ribbon cable interconnect applications. It features a 30-position configuration with a 2.54 × 2.54 mm centerline matrix, shrouded 4-sided housing in black thermoplastic with glass-filled material (UL 94V-0 rated), and gold-plated square contacts in the mating area. The header incorporates long ejection latches with dual polarizing bars for military-grade mating polarization, a 0.64 mm post size, and a 3.94 mm termination post length with tin-lead solder tail plating. This connector is wave solder capable up to 265°C, RoHS/ELV compliant (5 of 6), and recommended for use with 3.18 mm PCB thickness. The preloaded design with universal ejection pin headers and mating connector lock makes it ideal for secure, reliable interconnections in industrial and military applications requiring robust polarization and positive locking mechanisms.
