DESCRIPTION

The 499922-6 is a universal ejection style pin header kit designed for military applications with AMP-LATCH connector compatibility. It features a 1.10 mm (0.043 inch) post length with duplex contact plating, including 0.00058 mm (0.00015 inch) gold on the mating end and 0.00254–0.00508 mm (0.000100–0.000200 inch) bright tin-lead on the termination end, with 0.00127 mm (0.000050 inch) nickel underplating throughout. The connector utilizes 2.54 mm × 2.54 mm (0.100 × 0.100 inch) center spacing and is compatible with AMP-LATCH receptacles with strain relief. This pin header kit is suitable for ribbon cable applications and can be mounted using 4-24 self-tapping screws or 2-56 bolts and nuts on PC boards with thicknesses of 1.57 mm (0.062 inch) or greater, making it ideal for military and aerospace interconnect applications requiring reliable, polarized connections.
