DESCRIPTION

440456-1 is a closed ring tongue terminal designed to provide a secure electrical connection for 20–16 AWG stranded copper wire to #8/M4 studs. The terminal features a brass contact base with tin plating, an open barrel for wire insertion, and straight orientation, with a stud diameter of 4.4 mm [0.173 in]. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 110°C and is supplied uninsulated without wire insulation support. This terminal is commonly used in automotive, industrial, and power distribution applications where reliable ring connections to threaded studs are required, offering excellent corrosion resistance through tin plating and robust mechanical attachment.
