DESCRIPTION

4-2306317-5 is a SOLARLOK PV Edge decentralized junction box designed for traditional mid-panel mounting applications on solar panels. This center box configuration (no interface) uses an Omega-Clip mounting system for East-West foil orientation without flap or fixing tape. The junction box features a clamping and non-potting design rated at 1500V DC (UL and TUV/IEC approved), with a rated current of 15A standard or 17A special version, and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +115°C. It provides IP68 waterproof protection (7 m / 24 hours) and includes an integrated PV4-S interface with humidity control vent. Common applications include building integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) panels, bifacial solar panels, and half cell solar panels where quick installation without potting or hole drilling is required.
