DESCRIPTION

The 4-1879125-8 is a thin film precision resistor from the RN73 series, designed for high-stability applications requiring exceptional accuracy and temperature stability. It features a temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) as low as 5ppm/°C with tolerance down to 0.01%, utilizing a three-layer sputtered nichrome construction on an alumina substrate with silver electrodes and tin external finish. The resistor is available in multiple case sizes (0402 to 2512) with dimensions ranging from 1.00 mm × 0.50 mm for 0402 to 6.30 mm × 3.10 mm for 2512, and is rated for reflow soldering with peak temperatures up to 260°C. This component is ideal for communications, industrial controls, instrumentation, and medical applications where precision, stability, and reliability are critical requirements.
