DESCRIPTION

The 3-2369516-1 is a heavy-duty sealed connector from the TE Connectivity Heavy Duty Sealed Connector Series, engineered for AMP MCP contact systems with 2 to 18 positions. The connector features receptacle contacts made from CuNiSi or CuSn4 materials with tin or silver plating options, accommodating wire sizes of 0.5 mm² to 2.5 mm² with ETFE insulation. It is rated for contact temperature rise less than 40 K under current load, with a maximum operating temperature of 140°C for silver-plated contacts and 130°C for tin-plated contacts, and demonstrates excellent contact resistance specifications with initial resistance below 5 mO. The connector is designed for demanding automotive and industrial applications including engine/gearbox installations, featuring robust mechanical performance under vibration (swept sine and random vibration testing per ISO 16750-3), mechanical shock (50 g per ISO 16750-3), and thermal cycling from -40°C to 140°C. Its sealed design and high current-carrying capacity make it suitable for harsh environments where reliable electrical connections are critical.
