DESCRIPTION
The 2317206-2 is an AMPMODU 2 mm wire-to-board IDC receptacle platform designed for reliable interconnection in miniature electronics applications. It features pre-loaded discrete wire insulation displacement contacts (IDC) that enable fast termination without the need to strip the wire, using manual or pneumatic pistol grip tooling. The connector operates at a maximum current rating of 2 A with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 650 VAC and supports operating temperatures from -40°C to 105°C (tin plated) or -40°C to 125°C (gold plated). The receptacle housing is constructed from high-temperature plastic (LCP) with phosphor bronze contacts and offers multiple plating options including 30 µ" (0.76 µm) gold, 15 µ" (0.38 µm) gold, 4 µ" (0.1 µm) gold flash, or tin. This product is ideal for industrial control systems, PLC/IO devices, servo drives, material handling equipment, and building automation applications where space savings of 38% compared to traditional 2.54 mm connectors and reliable signal transfer in high vibration environments are required.
