DESCRIPTION
The 1-2316104-2 is a crimp snap-in receptacle connector featuring a positive latch mechanism, designed as part of TE Connectivity's AMPMODU 2 mm interconnection system. This connector utilizes a Liquid Crystal Polymer (UL 94V0) housing in black with phosphor bronze contacts, offering multiple plating options including 30µ" [0.76 µm] gold, 15µ" [0.38 µm] gold, 4µ" [0.1 µm] gold, and tin to meet various application requirements. The receptacle is rated for a maximum voltage of 125 Vrms and maximum current of 2 A, with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 650 VAC, and operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C for gold-plated versions. The connector exhibits excellent durability with 250 mating cycles for 30µ" gold plating and features a mating force of 2.2 N maximum and unmating force of 0.2 N minimum, with a contact retention force of 10 N minimum in wire receptacles. This compact 2 mm design is ideal for space-constrained applications in miniature electronics, providing reliable signal transfer in demanding environments.
