DESCRIPTION
The 2316104-6 is a crimp snap-in receptacle with positive latch from TE Connectivity's AMPMODU 2 mm interconnection system, engineered for reliable wire-to-board mating in space-constrained applications. This receptacle features a Liquid Crystal Polymer (UL 94V0) housing in black with phosphor bronze contacts available in multiple plating options: 30µ" [0.76 µm] gold, 15µ" [0.38 µm] gold, 4µ" [0.1 µm] gold, or tin. The product supports a maximum voltage rating of 125 Vrms and current rating of 2 A, with operating temperatures ranging from -40°C to +105°C for tin plating and -40°C to +125°C for gold plating. The connector exhibits excellent durability with 250 mating cycles for 30µ" gold plating and 100 cycles for 15µ" gold plating, along with a contact retention force of 10 N minimum in wire receptacles. This receptacle is ideal for demanding applications requiring reliable signal transfers, compact board space savings of 38% compared to traditional 2.54 mm connectors, and the dual-beam contact design ensures 2 points of contact for increased signal reliability.
