DESCRIPTION

2391878-1 is a connector module component of the Z-PACK 2 mm HM Interconnection System designed for board-to-board connections between free boards (daughterboards, printed circuit boards) and fixed boards (motherboards, backplanes, or back panels). The system features a two-part connector design with signal pins, EON pins, polarization/alignment lugs and slots, and optional ground return shield configurations available in multiple module styles (Types A, B, C, and A/B). The connector operates with a 2 mm pitch spacing and supports PC board thicknesses between 1.4 and 4.2 mm, with standard dimensional tolerances of ±0.13 mm and angle tolerances of ±2°. This interconnection system is widely used in applications requiring reliable board-to-board signal transmission, including telecommunications, computing, and industrial equipment where modular board connections are essential.
