DESCRIPTION

2389274-1 is a Hard Metric backplane PCB mount receptacle designed for high-density board-to-board interconnections in mezzanine configurations. It features 55 positions arranged in 11 columns and 5 rows with a 2 mm (0.078 in) centerline pitch, supporting data rates up to 1 Gb/s. The connector utilizes phosphor bronze contacts with gold plating (0.76 µm thickness) on the mating area and tin-lead plating on the PCB termination, rated for a maximum current of 1.5 A per contact. The housing is constructed from PBT GF material with a gray color, mounted at a right angle orientation with press-fit through-hole termination to the PCB, and operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. This connector is ideal for applications requiring robust power and signal distribution in compact backplane systems, such as telecommunications equipment, industrial control systems, and high-density computing platforms.
