DESCRIPTION

2-2834006-0 is a 2-pole modular releasable poke-in connector designed for quick and easy wire-to-board connectivity in a low-profile form factor. This connector features an integral conductor release mechanism recessed below the top side, supporting multiple insertion and release cycles without requiring special tooling. The connector accepts solid and stranded wire from 18 AWG to 22 AWG with a maximum insulation outer diameter of 2.5 mm, and provides a wire retention force of 30 N minimum. Operating across a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C with a voltage rating of 300 VAC maximum and dielectric strength of 2000 VAC, the connector is constructed with copper alloy contacts and tin plating for reliable performance. The modular design with brown and yellow color configuration enables easy identification and flexibility in design, making it ideal for LED lighting applications, telecommunications systems, security systems, and home automation where compact PCB layouts and quick rework capability are essential.
