DESCRIPTION

The 2271679-3 is a DTC 2.5 TE screw-type terminal block connector designed for secure wire termination in industrial and electrical applications. It features a 2-in/2-out configuration with support for wire sizes from 28–12 AWG (0.08–2.5 mm²) and is rated for 20 A at 300 V (UL) or 24 A at 500 V (IEC 60947-7-1). The terminal block incorporates a copper alloy terminal with tin plating, steel clamps and screws with zinc plating, and a thermoplastic housing, with an M2.6 screw torque specification of 4–4.5 lbs-in (0.46–0.52 Nm). It has an impulse withstand voltage of 6 kV and requires a wire strip length of 8–10 mm for proper installation. This connector is ideal for control panels, industrial machinery, and power distribution systems where reliable screw-terminal connections are essential, and it complies with RoHS and REACH environmental requirements.
