DESCRIPTION

The 2271678-2 is a DTC 2.5 TW screw-type terminal block connector manufactured by TE Connectivity, designed for secure wire termination in industrial and electrical applications. It accommodates wire sizes from 0.08 to 2.5 mm² (AWG 28–12) and is rated for 20A at 300V per UL standards or 24A at 400V per IEC 60947-7-1, with an impulse withstand voltage of 6 kV. The terminal features a copper alloy terminal with tin plating, steel clamps and screws with zinc plating, and a thermoplastic housing, with M2.6 screw terminals requiring 4–4.5 lbs-in (0.46–0.52 Nm) torque and 8–10 mm wire strip length. This connector is ideal for control panels, machinery, and electrical distribution systems where reliable, compact wire connections are required, and it complies with RoHS and REACH environmental standards.
