DESCRIPTION

HPCR0819AK560RST is an axial leaded non-inductive bulk ceramic resistor designed for applications requiring high peak power or high-energy pulse handling in a compact size. This resistor features a 56O resistance value with 10% tolerance, 2W average power rating at 40°C ambient, and can handle rated peak energy of 170J, rated peak voltage of 1100V, and rated peak current of 150A. The bulk ceramic construction provides uniform energy distribution throughout the resistor body with no film or wire to fail, and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +230°C. With a dielectric strength of 700VAC and resistance temperature coefficient of +0/-800 PPM/°C, it is ideal for pulse waveform circuits, EMI/EFI test circuits, RF dummy load circuits, and capacitor dump circuits where reliable high-energy absorption is required.
