DESCRIPTION

RLP73N3AR091JTE is a high-power SMD thick-film current sense resistor designed for low-ohmic shunt applications in power management and battery charge management circuits. This resistor features a special metal glaze resistive element with noble metal (silver-palladium) terminals and a nickel barrier layer beneath matte tin finish to ensure long terminal life and reliability. The device is rated for 2W power dissipation at 70°C ambient temperature with a temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) of ±300 PPM/°C, operating across a temperature range of -55°C to +155°C. The 2512 package (6.35 mm × 3.15 mm × 0.74 mm) accommodates resistance values from R051 to R091 ohms, making it ideal for current detection in communications, audio, automotive, and low-voltage power supply applications. Its moisture sensitivity level (MSL) of 1 and embossed plastic tape packaging provide excellent protection during handling and storage.
