DESCRIPTION

2-2170814-2 is a QSFP28/56 cage designed for high-speed data interconnect applications. This 1x2 port through bezel cage features EMI gasket suppression for superior electromagnetic interference protection, providing up to 10 dB EMI performance improvement over standard QSFP28 products. The cage supports dual and quad channel implementations with data transfer rates of 28 Gbps NRZ and 56 Gbps PAM-4, and is compatible with NET, PCI, and SAN lightpipe applications. It is designed for use with Ethernet and InfiniBand Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) requirements, offering backwards compatibility with QSFP+ cables and transceivers for a simple upgrade path from 10 Gbps to higher data rates.
