DESCRIPTION

The 2170704-9 is a 1x1 through-bezel QSFP28/56 and zQSFP+ cage interconnect designed for high-performance data center and networking applications. It features EMI springs for superior electromagnetic interference suppression and supports data transfer rates of 28 Gbps NRZ and 56 Gbps PAM-4, enabling compatibility with 50, 100, and 200 Gigabit Ethernet as well as 100 Gbps InfiniBand Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) requirements. The cage provides backwards compatibility with QSFP+ cables and transceivers, offering a scalable upgrade path from 10 Gbps to 28 Gbps and 56 Gbps. With its through-bezel configuration and EMI spring design, this interconnect delivers improved signal integrity and reduced electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for network switches, servers, routers, and high-density computing environments requiring reliable, high-speed connectivity.
