DESCRIPTION

2170129-1 is a 1x2 RJ point five board mount receptacle designed for high-density Ethernet connectivity in data center and networking applications. The connector meets Category 5e performance specifications for 10/100/1000BASE-T applications, with electrical characteristics including insertion loss of 0.4 dB maximum at 100 MHz, return loss of 20 dB minimum at 100 MHz, NEXT loss of 43 dB minimum at 100 MHz, and FEXT loss of 35.1 dB minimum at 100 MHz. Mechanically, the receptacle features a 7 mm port center-on-center spacing, an overall height of 25.25 mm, includes a grounding finger for shielding, and incorporates lightpipes that transfer LED indicator light from board-mounted LEDs through the cable boot for convenient viewing. This design enables approximately double the density of standard RJ45 connectors while maintaining reliable gigabit-speed performance, making it ideal for high-density switching, routing, and data center applications where space optimization and signal integrity are critical.
