DESCRIPTION

The 2-1623720-1 is a ceramic composition resistor from TE Connectivity's CCR series, engineered for pulse withstand capability and high inrush current absorption in demanding electrical applications. It features solid ceramic composition construction with excellent pulse withstand characteristics, offering resistance values ranging from 3.3 O to 390 kO with multiple tolerance options and temperature coefficient ranges from -500 to -2200 ppm/°C depending on resistance value. The resistor is rated for high-voltage impulse testing up to 20 kV with 100,000 cycles and demonstrates superior performance under overload conditions, with typical resistance change of ±(0.4% + 0.05 O) under 2.5× rated voltage for 5 seconds. It is qualified to the AEC-Q200 automotive standard and features coated flameproof material (UL94 V-0), making it ideal for high-voltage power supplies, R-C snubber circuits, inrush limiters, and other high-energy pulse applications requiring reliable, stable performance.
