DESCRIPTION

2118727-2 is a two-piece board level shielding (BLS) cover component manufactured by TE Connectivity designed to provide electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression and isolation of board-level components. The cover features dimensions of 29.96 mm length × 19.10 mm width × 2.00 mm height with a material thickness of 0.20 mm, constructed from stainless steel, galvanized steel, pre-plated cold rolled steel, or aluminum with a minimum inner bending radius of 0.10 mm and co-planarity of 0.08 mm size-dependent. The component includes a pitch of dimples at 3 mm minimum spacing and is supplied in bulk/bag packaging at 3000 pieces per box. This shielding solution is ideal for applications requiring board-level EMI suppression in mobile phones, tablets, routers, wireless devices, IoT equipment, and other compact electronics where minimizing crosstalk and reducing EMI susceptibility are critical without impacting system performance.
