DESCRIPTION

2118709-4 is a one-piece aluminum board level shielding (BLS) EMI shield designed to provide isolation of board level components, minimize crosstalk, and reduce EMI susceptibility. This stamped metal cage features dimensions of 32.00 x 32.00 x 6.00 mm with a material thickness of 0.20 mm, and is constructed from aluminum for weight savings compared to cold rolled steel alternatives. The shield includes SMT castellations and pick and place features for efficient assembly. Common applications include mobile phones, tablets, 2-in-1 notebooks, game consoles, routers, wireless meters, wearables, IoT devices, and other electronics requiring board level EMI suppression.
