The 2118310-1 is a compact MetaSpan antenna designed for multi-band LTE and cellular applications, utilizing metamaterial technology to achieve coverage across three distinct frequency bands (698–960 MHz, 1710–2170 MHz, and 2300–2700 MHz) in a single assembly. The antenna delivers a peak gain of +3.5 dBi with linear polarization and omni-directional azimuth beamwidth, maintaining a VSWR of less than 3.0:1 (tunable) and a 50 Ohm unbalanced feed point impedance. It is rated for 3 Watt continuous wave power handling and requires minimal or no matching circuits, with performance optimized through capacitors for low-band operation. The antenna measures 74.0 mm × 10.56 mm × 1.57 mm, weighs 2.55 g, and mounts via tab with plated through holes on the PCB edge with a suggested minimum ground plane length of 120 mm. This design is ideal for compact mobile devices, IoT modules, and embedded cellular systems requiring multi-band coverage with minimal board space and matching complexity.
