DESCRIPTION

The 2098253-2 is a size HDSF 16 stamped and formed receptacle contact designed for the AMPSEAL 16 connector system. This nickel-finished contact is supplied in strip form and is engineered to accept 14 AWG (2.0-1.5 mm²) wire. It accommodates an insulation diameter range of .083 to .128 inches (2.10 to 3.25 mm) and includes wire insulation support for enhanced strain relief. As part of the AMPSEAL 16 system, it is suitable for creating reliable connections in harsh environments found in off-road, heavy-duty industrial, and agricultural applications.
