DESCRIPTION

206637-1 is a 3-position power cord receptacle housing designed to the international standard CEE-22, featuring a polarized thermoplastic construction suitable for both rack and panel mounting. The housing is constructed from 94V-0 rated thermoplastic with a 90°C temperature rating and incorporates machine-applied crimp, snap-in tin-plated brass contacts with rectangular cross-section geometry. The ground contact extends 0.118 inches (3 mm) farther forward than the power contacts to ensure proper grounding prior to power engagement, and the rear egg-crate design eliminates the need for post-termination insulation sleeving. The receptacle is recognized by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. at 250 volts and 15 amperes, certified by Canadian Standards Association for 250 volts and 15 amps, and VDE-approved for 250 volts and 10 amperes, making it suitable for international power distribution applications in European and global markets.
