DESCRIPTION
The 2061981-3 is a FullAXS Mini cable assembly and connector from TE Connectivity engineered for reliable fiber optic interconnection in demanding applications. The connector features insertion loss of =0.5 dB at 1310 nm and 1550 nm with return loss =50 dB, ensuring excellent optical performance. It is rated for mechanical loads of 100 N straight load and 150 N side load (90°) for 120 seconds without signal degradation, and supports 100 mechanical operation cycles with locking torque <200 N·cm and unlocking force >30 N·cm. The assembly operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, meets IP65 and IP67 ingress protection ratings per IEC 60529, and demonstrates resistance to vibration (10–150 Hz, 10 g peak acceleration), torsion (±180°, 15 N load), salt spray (96 hours, 5% NaCl), and UV exposure.
