DESCRIPTION

The 1-968882-1 is a stamped and formed receptacle contact designed for high-current electrical connector applications. It features a 2.8 mm contact size rated for up to 40 A and accommodates wire gauges from 0.35 mm with a flat-lay-round (FLR) insulation range of 047–055 mm (1.2–1.4 mm). The contact is constructed from copper-nickel-silicon (CuNiSi) alloy with pre-tinned plating to ensure reliable electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. This receptacle contact is commonly used in industrial and commercial transportation connectors where robust, high-current connections are required, such as in power distribution systems, automotive harnesses, and heavy equipment electrical assemblies.
