DESCRIPTION

176143-2 is a pin contact designed for use in TE Connectivity's Econoseal J Series Mark II sealed connector system for automotive applications. The contact is manufactured from brass (CuZn) with a pre-tin plated finish and accommodates wire sizes ranging from 0.20–1.25 mm² (AWG 24–16) with insulation diameters of 1.4–2.6 mm. The Econoseal connector series provides waterproof protection and rugged construction, making it suitable for extreme environmental conditions including exposure to moisture, dust, and corrosive substances. Typical applications include sensor wiring under motor hoods and connections to electrical control systems in harsh automotive environments.
