DESCRIPTION

The 1-746610-4 is a 16-position preassembled DIP plug designed for creating a permanent connection between a ribbon cable and a PC board, or for mating with standard DIP sockets. This connector, which comes without retention legs, is built on a .100 x .100 inch centerline grid and has an overall length of .750 inches and width of .980 inches . Its flat, tuning-fork style IDC contacts are made of phosphor bronze with gold and tin plating. This plug is ideal for applications requiring a low-profile, space-efficient interconnect solution for mass termination.
