DESCRIPTION

The 1622912-1 is a thick film chip resistor manufactured by TE Connectivity designed for industrial and general-purpose applications requiring high power density in compact form factors. The resistive element is screen-printed and fired onto a high-purity alumina substrate, then laser-trimmed to tolerance and finished with electroplated matte tin over a nickel barrier layer. Available in eight package sizes (0201 through 2512), it supports resistance values from 1O to 10MO with temperature coefficient of resistance ranging from ±100 to ±400 PPM/°C depending on value range. The component features a minimum insulation resistance of 1,000 MO and dielectric withstanding voltage up to 500V AC (depending on package size), with short-term overload resistance change rates of ±5% maximum. These resistors are ideal for high-density circuit applications in industrial equipment, consumer electronics, and general-purpose designs where space efficiency and reliability are critical.
