DESCRIPTION

The 1612335-1 is a Tab contact component for the GRACE INERTIA connector series, designed for 3.3 mm centerline applications and compatible with 26–22 AWG wire sizes. This tab contact features dual beam contact design that provides reliable electrical connection and durability, while lanceless contacts prevent snagging or entanglement during assembly. The contact is part of a connector system that employs an inertia locking mechanism to simultaneously complete the circuit and lock the connector, helping to prevent unintended disconnection and improve mating reliability. The GRACE INERTIA series operates over a temperature range of -30°C to +105°C and meets UL 94 V0 flammability standards, making it suitable for appliance and industrial applications requiring robust wire-to-board connectivity with ergonomic assembly and multiple keying options for connector identification.
