DESCRIPTION

1564980-1 is a receptacle terminal designed for the AMP MCP 1.5K connector system, engineered to terminate 0.22–0.35 mm² copper wire with a compatible insulation diameter range of 1.1–1.4 mm. The terminal features a 1.6 mm mating tab width with 0.6 mm tab thickness, tin (Sn) interface plating, and a locking lance as the primary locking feature, providing secure and reliable connections. With an F-crimp termination method and a typical current rating of 8 A, this unsealed receptacle terminal operates across a temperature range of -40°C to 130°C and conforms to DIN 72036 automation guidelines. This terminal is widely used in automotive wiring harness applications where automated component insertion and reliable low-power signal transmission (0–24 A) are required.
