DESCRIPTION

The 1-532428-1 is a 4-row AMP-HDI receptacle assembly connector designed for high-density board-to-board interconnections in rugged applications. This connector features 120 loaded positions with a post length of 4.57 mm (0.18 inches) and vertical orientation, utilizing Twin Beam Contacts for reliable electrical performance. The contact system employs gold plating over nickel or tin on copper alloy, with a glass-filled thermoplastic housing rated UL94 V-0, providing excellent mechanical and electrical performance in vibration and shock environments with gold-plated square posts offering four contact areas per connection. Operating across a temperature range of -65°C to 125°C, the connector delivers a maximum mating force of 2.5 oz (14.1 g) per contact, an unmating force of 0.4 oz (56.7 g) minimum, and supports 250 mating cycles with 3 pounds contact retention. This connector is ideal for aerospace, military, industrial instrumentation, and data communications applications requiring high reliability and density in demanding environments.
