DESCRIPTION

1394461-8 is a Minus Male connector designed for the SOLARLOK Interconnection System, a keyed connector solution for photovoltaic applications. This connector is specifically configured for 2.5mm² (14AWG) wire with an insulation outer diameter range of 4.5 to 6.0 mm (0.177–0.236 in), and features polarity-keyed design that ensures it mates only with equally marked Minus Female connectors. The system operates at a maximum system voltage of 1000V (600V for UL applications) with a maximum current rating of 25A at 85°C, and functions reliably across an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. This connector is commonly used in solar panel interconnections, roof tile installations, and connections between panels and AC/DC inverters, where secure, polarized connections are essential for safe and reliable photovoltaic system operation.
