DESCRIPTION

The 1318986-2 is a loose-piece receptacle contact from the Dynamic D-5000 series, developed for high-current power line applications. This crimp contact is specifically designed for 20 AWG (0.50 mmÂ²) wire with an insulation outside diameter of 1.8 to 2.83 mm. It is constructed from a high-conductivity copper alloy and features a 0.38 Î¼m gold plating over a nickel underplate for enhanced reliability. The contact's twist-resistant, box-shaped design ensures a robust connection.
