DESCRIPTION

The 131-165-014 is a dual connection, standard IDC (Insulation Displacement Crimp) splice terminal from the 165 Box series. It is constructed from tin-plated brass with a stock thickness of 0.012 inches and is designed to terminate copper magnet wires ranging from 32 to 27 AWG (0.20 mm to 0.36 mm). This terminal also accommodates a solid lead wire range of 26-24 AWG (0.40-0.51 mm). Utilizing IDC technology, it eliminates the need for pre-stripping conductors, creating a stable, gas-tight electrical connection. Common applications include motor windings, coil connections, and transformers, though it requires a special cavity for mounting.
