DESCRIPTION

1241390-1 is a standard receptacle contact (SRC) for the AMP MCP 1.5K interconnection system, engineered for automotive electrical applications. This contact accommodates wire sizes greater than 1.0 to 2.5 mm² with an insulation diameter range of 2.2 to 3.0 mm, and is available in CuNiSi material with pre-tin plating (-1) or selective gold plating (-2) finish options. The contact is supplied in strip form with a package quantity of 3,500 units per reel and 500 units per loose-piece package, with an applicator reference of x-1528001-x. The AMP MCP 1.5K system is designed for high reliability in long-term automotive use, featuring 3 redundant contact points and supporting high vibration levels. This contact is commonly used in powertrain systems, safety and security systems, and body and chassis applications where robust electrical connections are required.
