DESCRIPTION

1-2198318-7 is a zSFP+ pluggable I/O interconnect cage designed for high-speed data transmission applications. This 2x1 configuration cage features EMI gasket suppression with 3 light pipes and supports data rates up to 28 Gbps NRZ and 56 Gbps PAM-4. The cage is constructed with high-temperature thermoplastic housing (glass-filled, UL 94V-0 black) and high-performance copper alloy contacts with nickel underplating and gold plating on the mating area. It offers a mating force of 25N, unmating force of 11.5N, and durability of minimum 250 cycles. Operating over a temperature range of -40 to +85°C, this interconnect is compliant to SFP-8402 and IEEE802.3 cd standards, making it ideal for Fibre Channel 32G, 25G Ethernet, and other high-speed networking applications.
